The March pub quiz will take place this Monday, the 9th. The main march for International Women’s Day will also be on this day (there’s not much impact to striking on a Sunday, after all), so if you’re coming on public transport you might want to try and set off a little earlier than usual as transport will be busy (yes, I know I’m a fine one to talk). A new year has begun, and with it a new decade! The first Buenos Aires Pub Quiz of the 2020s will take place on Monday, 13th January. It’s the final BA Pub Quiz of the year, and that means we’ll be finding out which team will get their hands on the coveted Jonathan Evans Memorial Mate as the 2019 BA Pub Quiz champions! The November quiz was closely fought throughout … for second place. But the winners, for what I was surprised to be informed was the first time in two and a half years of trying, were For Fact’s Sake, who stormed home two points clear of second-placed Cat’s Whiskers.
