On the evening after Argentina’s World Cup final loss to Germany, we were treated to a second titanic head-to-head tussle in just over 24 hours, as reigning champions the Educated Guessers were challenged by the only other team brave enough to show up, the newly-formed Quiz Ass, Quiz Ass, Quiz Ass. It was an evening of high drama as – true to Argentina’s 1986 World Cup victory – Quiz Ass raced into a comfortable lead before throwing it away towards the end and then pulling away again towards the death.
